loganfsmyth 2018-01-18 20:51:46 yeah okay, run that command and you should be good currently if you restart your watcher you have to run that, it's a pain but noone has gotten around to fixing it
ajaynarainmathur 2018-01-18 20:54:08 got it thanks
hzoo 2018-01-18 20:54:21 we should be able to just compile the non-rollup version of babylon in watch mode?
loganfsmyth 2018-01-18 20:54:45 agreed
nicolo-ribaudo 2018-01-18 20:55:22 I started working on it yesterday night, but found an issue which blocked me I will open a PR soon
wagonofjustice 2018-01-18 22:23:54 does anyone know what declaring a variable evaluates to, is it always undefined?
loganfsmyth 2018-01-18 22:24:21 evaluating where? Like in eval or a do expression?
wagonofjustice 2018-01-18 22:24:26 obviously, the variable gets the value. But what does the execution of that operation evaluate to -- for instance, declaring it in the console, as far as I can tell, gives undefined
bradleymeck 2018-01-18 22:24:29 @realisation variable declarations have an empty completion value, so not undefined
wagonofjustice 2018-01-18 22:24:38 hmm
bradleymeck 2018-01-18 22:24:57 eval("'yolo'; let x = 1;") === 'yolo'
wagonofjustice 2018-01-18 22:24:59 I'm concerned with it just for proper interpreting -- building a metacircular interpreter
jamesdigioia 2018-01-18 22:25:45 let x -> x === undefined , if that's what you're asking
wagonofjustice 2018-01-18 22:26:20 no -- I think maybe @bradleymeck got it. the undefined isn't from the eval'd variable declaration or the Program? rather, is it from the blockStatement?
