abiduzair420 2018-02-12 18:04:03 Yes. It says lerna success Bootstrapped 135 packages .I have shared this gist: showing the execution EDIT:
hzoo 2018-02-12 18:07:27 > Error: Cannot find module 'babel-preset-env' from 'D:\uzair\babel\packages\babel-plugin-transform-regenerator\node_modules\regenerator-transform' I would suggest running bootstrap again? Worst case could just re-clone  yeah that doesn't make any sense either
abiduzair420 2018-02-12 18:08:44 I have tried running it again. Probably would try the latter option. Re-cloning  I still see the same error. I will try to go into the files internally and see what's not working. It is something related to scoped packages. It says did you mean <@babel>/env ? after the error message
hzoo 2018-02-12 18:28:05 i know the issue is that it's trying to read the babelrc in package.json of regenerator-transform either way it's in node_modules I just don't get why it's doing that for you
loganfsmyth 2018-02-12 18:28:42 yeah, what's the full stacktrace?
benjamn 2018-02-12 18:29:33 I could move that configuration into a prepublish script so it doesn’t confuse anyone
loganfsmyth 2018-02-12 18:29:59 it shouldn't be running anyway really, that's the confusing part
abiduzair420 2018-02-12 18:30:21 Stacktrace:
loganfsmyth 2018-02-12 18:34:08 maybe there's something up with our scripts on Windows? Babel passes by default I don't know what to say, you might have to do some debugging
abiduzair420 2018-02-12 18:39:46 Yeah.
loganfsmyth 2018-02-12 18:40:07 so babel/register which is running here shouldn't be trying to compile anything inside node_modules, and the fact that it is could be a bug probably I'd run node --inspect -r <@babel>/register and then require("packages\\babel-plugin-transform-regenerator\\node_modules\\regenerator-transform") to see if you can reproduce the error, and then attach Chrome's debugger to see what is happening in
abiduzair420 2018-02-12 18:44:28 Okay sure. I'll do that. Thanks
jamesdigioia 2018-02-12 23:05:21 is there any introduction / overview of babylon's internal architecture?
japhar81 2018-02-13 00:21:41 has anyone run into the import * as thing with the typescript preset? TS wants me to do import * as express from 'express' , which babel won't take; TypeError: (0 , express) is not a function . The babel way of import express from 'express' compiles, but of course every IDE that parses TS vomits on that as having no default export
