jhuizy 2017-08-11 00:46:23 anyone have experience with SES? I need to set up bounce and complaint handling in order to increase my send limit. It is my understanding that if I register an email and set up email forwarding on that email that I will receive all complaints and bounce notifications? Or do I need to set it up through SNS?
randywallace 2017-08-11 01:13:37 @brianterry I have successfully done it with both the MySQL Client, and AWS Java SDK baked into our DB Connection pool logic (unless you create the user with REQUIRE SSL) huh, interesting.. doesn't _actually_ require SSL 5) IAM Role/User must have permissions to login to that db as that user 4) you must have the user created on the DB with appropriate grants and whatnot using the IAM Plugin 3) You must have IAM Auth enabled on the db 2) The token only works for about 5 minutes, so prepare to generate a new p/w pretty much every time you plan on logging in 1) it only works over SSL using the CA Cert provided
brianterry 2017-08-11 01:37:40 @randywallace , So I think my issue is with the IAM permission s
