staxwell 2017-10-17 17:09:36 I enjoyed Bioshock Infinite but was aware of how much of it was compromised
twilightkite 2017-10-17 17:09:39 well its weird, cos things like this dark souls one are much longer, and might even be representative of real gameplay that was later optimized visually for whatever reason where as for more guided tour type things like the bioshock one, that’s easier like there’s too much going on for it to be edge-to-edge faked
staxwell 2017-10-17 17:10:13 do you think they are adding post processing filters and such after the gameplay is captured? can they do that
twilightkite 2017-10-17 17:10:21 possibly Its not even like dark souls 2 looks outright bad on the right but its weird. like, why call so much attention to the graphics if you know people are gonna notice its not what you sold them? I’m not a game dev, I couldn’t say exactly what tricks they’re doing
chowderman 2017-10-17 17:11:05 in RBVR they do some tricks too, the first 5 rows of fans are 3d the rest are all 2d
twilightkite 2017-10-17 17:11:06 does it look as cool or interesting as the left? nahh
staxwell 2017-10-17 17:11:21 lighting is yuge
