andy.kannberg 2018-01-23 08:44:26 hi all. New here. Learning Kubernetes as I speak. Does anybody know if OpenShift already is available for ARM devices ? I have 3 Raspi's setup as my Kubernetes cluster. So, here goes... So prolly lotsa questions. Hope you dont mind :D:D
jpds 2018-01-23 08:55:53 I tried using raspis once, they're not powerful enough to run compute+storage And most docker images weren't built for ARM And most docker images at the time weren't built for ARM
andy.kannberg 2018-01-23 09:06:43 hi jpds. Valid points, but for learning Kubernetes it's sufficient. At least, as far as I can see as a Kube n00b

cpn 2018-01-23 09:24:51 Is there a way to prevent ALL non-daemonset pods from being scheduled on masters except when explicitly stated?
jpds 2018-01-23 09:41:04 @andy.kannberg probably easier to play with GKE
andy.kannberg 2018-01-23 09:43:30 @jpds maybe, but I like to tinker with some hardware also. GKE is on my todolist as well.

m.augier-ext 2018-01-23 10:01:37 @sankar.mittapally Your use isn't allowed to perform these actions, you need to bind him with a cluster-admin cluster-role into a clusterrolepolicybinding
sankar.mittapally 2018-01-23 10:05:19 @m.augier-ext kubectl create rolebinding ClusterRoleBinding1 --clusterrole=cluster-admin --user=sankar--namespace=kube-system I added cluster admin role to my user still getting same issue
christoffer.nicklasso 2018-01-23 10:06:26 Is there any integration/solution when running local cluster to include the LB function ?
m.augier-ext 2018-01-23 10:07:04 @sankar.mittapally try with `kubectl create clusterrolebinding @christoffer.nicklasso i don't think so... i looked for and didn't find anything, maybe I didn't search enough
