thomas960 2018-02-16 17:29:15 yes they are, they are just stuck in a Terminating state but the containers inside are still running for some reason
weaselkeeper 2018-02-16 17:29:33 check the logs for why no terminate. might be hanging on something
drkchill 2018-02-16 17:35:11 Hello, I have a websocket server, 3 replicas running behind nginx ingress
oliverhuntcf 2018-02-16 17:35:12 I'm experiencing this: https://github.com/concourse/concourse/issues/598 in kubernetes which is apparently fixed by running the concourse-worker with securityContext: privileged: true, which I am, but I'm still getting the error? What might I be doing wrong?
drkchill 2018-02-16 17:35:26 now when I connect via a client, I get 400 so, is there any gotcha for socket.io with k8s? but I see the connection made in the logs

rmishra 2018-02-16 17:37:13 @lachlan.munro Thanks for the pointer, i just made it work. I think the confusion in my head was around the kinds of metric which need a monitoring solution (prometheus, etal) vs the core metrics which are satisfied by the metrics server. Found this to be very helpful - https://github.com/kubernetes/community/blob/master/contributors/design-proposals/instrumentation/monitoring_architecture.md .
lachlan.munro 2018-02-16 17:37:34 glad it worked for you :slightly_smiling_face:

sejeff 2018-02-16 17:49:12 In kubernetes 1.10 where did the feature tracking spreadsheet go? In all previous releases there is a google doc and a markdown doc in features.git
hvaara 2018-02-16 17:49:28 @elliot459 Same version/provider? I don't really think I can help in any way :/
elliot459 2018-02-16 17:50:18 trying to find out, but I suspect not; there's no administrative function to prevent that annotation from working, is there?
chancez 2018-02-16 17:51:00 @rajatjindal83 one has an indexer, one doesn't. not a huge difference, but indexing can be more performant when retrieving things from the Store generally, just use the SharedIndexInformer.
hvaara 2018-02-16 17:52:12 There might be. Could be an issue with the ingress controller maybe?
elliot459 2018-02-16 17:53:32 this service is only available within the project, not externally (mariadb)
