and what decides whether the sidebar should be opened or closed
Sounds like a client side of thing
also look at View Composers
I guess you want a cookie for that
The session just seemed like the obvious choice to me. A cookie would be another good choice, I’d have thought.
What decides whether it should be opened or closed is whether or not the user clicked on the icon on the page to do so. It’s your typical hamburger icon.
I am stuck and my question keeps getting lost here. If some good dev wants to help newbie dev, please dm me.
just post your queston agan @antonio
I have a view with bunch of dropdowns and checkboxes. I pass my data with controller but i.e. if I want to edit something then I need to preselect stuff for a user. How do I do that with jQuery? Can I do that somehow with Blade. Idk where to start
you need to pass possible data as well from controller
I am passing and using data, but I have $something->location and a dropdown with 30 locations. I have to add selected to only one. How do I do that?
you need to check if the data from your select is equal to what the user has
But I would like to aviod that because that would mean adding this 30+ times
Is it possible that I get that object with jQuery?
gonna be tricky
Then manual work it is
well i would prefer doing it since you will be having it inside a loop right?
